ASO – "Administrative Service Organization" Platform

A completely customized solution tailored to the clients needs. Subscribing ASO clients may not be eligible, may not have access to, or may choose not to participate in ASI's core benefit programs; but they still receive a similar service platform as listed in the PEO service description. Unlike the PEO platform, ASO clients do not enter into a co-employment agreement. ASI handles the benefit plan administration, HR consulting services, and offers complete payroll services reported under the company's FEIN.

As with the PEO, you retain control of on-site operations, hiring, firing, and supervision while benefiting from AdvanStaff's professional experience. Acting on your behalf, we can:

  • Assist with Workers' Compensation audits
  • Provide guidance regarding various HR issues
  • Manage your Unemployment and Workers' Compensation claims, including hearing coordination
  • Provide all our standard services including:
  • Payroll processing
  • Benefits administration
  • Tax reporting and compliance
  • Comprehensive HR consulting and guidance
  • Access and use of our form library
  • Full access to our Human Resource Information System (HRIS)


An ASO is a great choice if you have benefit plans that are working well for you, but you would still like to have extra human resources, risk management, and payroll processing support. This service is very similiar to our PEO service platform; however it does not involve co-employement of the worksite employee and thus does not in access to many of the PEO employee benefits. The ASO service platform does include full benefit administration.
